Whupped Oakland Black Man Gets Radio Interview

OK, OK, the Oakland AC Transit brouhaha is done (skip it if you must), but in the interest of fairness the Black man who got whupped (Michael) deserves some air time. BTW, Tommy Slick's Old White man story is getting crazier by the day, and where the hell is this 'Bob' character (a voice in Tom's head?). I frankly don't know who is telling the truth. So the moral of this saga is, 'don't drink and ride (AC Transit) or expect to get your butt kicked and show up on You Tube!'

It reminds me of the wolf in sheep's clothing fable. I've heard 2 different versions with different morals- the one I'm thinking of is where the wolf dresses as a sheep but ends up being chosen by the shepard for slaughter. Seek harm, and you will find it. I guess there's a little of The Scorpion and The Frog in there too.

I think it's big of him to apologize, it shows he's accepting responsability for his actions, and also leaves the field open for the possibility that there was a comment that could have been interpreted as an intended slur on the part of the other party.

He seems like a really nice guy when he's sober.

I don't get it, in the video this guy is acting like a wanna be thug. He even throws a punch, the first punch.

But in this latest video, he comes off mild mannered and soft spoken.

Simply being drunk can't account for this, this new image cannot be transformed into a fighter with the aid of alcohol. He was able to balance himself while walking back and forth on a moving bus yet we are supposed to believe he was drunk?

Oh well, I guess everything is not what it appears to be or what people want to make it appear to be after the fact.

"those young people didn't even know if was disprespecting black people".
There you go.
No one else seems to have picked up on that.
All in all i commend him for being willing to apologize. It still seems to me that he grossly misinterpreted whatever was being said.
And old beard man (Tom )is probably a bit insane too :)
I guess you could say this was 2 grown men behaving badly.
