Rep. Todd Akin's (R-Mo.) Takes Self-Immolation To New Level
My father always claimed that there were people who believed black people have tails. I think we just found one in Rep. Todd Akin's (R-Mo.). Anyone who believes that women have a built-in defense against 'legitimate rape' (other than the desire to kill the bastard) has to resemble one of those people of which Dad spoke.

I see your point on this, but let's get serious. If he actually said blacks have tails, well maybe he did say it, but Akin wouldn't be in any real trouble. His remark would not have caused so much a ruckus.
When I was a kid, many white lads believed that Asian women had sideways vaginas. There is a strong human need to believe in Otherness.
