Rodney King may have started out life as someone's little bundle of joy, but, sadly, he evolved into a walking catastrophe. May he rest in peace.
Rodney King, a troubled man with drug problems, was the spark that did change the LAPD to some degree for the better. LAPD still has its problems with racism and corruption but it is not the same police department as it was under the notorious Daryl Gates.
