atldude, i get, but also funny you should say. I'm a cyclist in Oakland and avoid bike lanes through poor black and Latino neighborhoods, because the city does not clean them regularly, thereby letting passing traffic sweep debris into said bike lanes, insuring flat tires.
I think the point is that he couldn't imagine a Black, Latino, or Asian openly videotaping the cop and getting away with it.
Really? I kind of took it like ... when certain comedians make fun of crazy White people going all around the world to research dangerous animals and attracting sharks to study them instead of avoiding them, or crazy sports like cliff-climbing or parachuting or in the movies when they know a house is haunted but they go in there anyway ... LOL. Or like videotaping police.
This guy's pretty lucky there even is a lane for him. Ten years ago I had to cross the street without a crosswalk. I got run over, and the following Monday the city put up a crosswalk and ticketed me for jaywalking(when I got home from the hospital)!
