WOW!!! Thanks for this James. It was so ... direct ... and accurate. It left me speechless. It left me ... well ... proud.

Whether Obama wins or loses perhaps he has succeeded in affecting how race in America is viewed and discussed.

His campaign should really use that list of former presidents that this man talked about to support the idea that Barack is ready.

  2. Thank you, Mr. Olbermann! This is my open letter to Hillary and her handlers. Since Hillary will not listen to black people, hopefully she will listen to you. We do not take kindly to the slights and insinuations of white people, especially white women. Mrs. Clinton is a lawyer and, I am certain, well-read. In her feminist background, surely she must have read or heard the rumblings of discontent from black women about the feminist movement back in the 60's and 70's. As it was then and it is now, white women of the feminist slant do not care about black people especially black women. Yes, black men got the right to vote before white women did. But no white woman ever got lynched for trying to vote. No white woman had to undergo a poll tax to vote after 1920. So spare me your false sisterhood and rheortic. Geraldine was as vitriolic then as she was now and black people certainly didn't trust her back then either. Given the revocation of your husbands 'black card' when he showed his true colors and your embracing of Bob Johnson (strike two), you have shown a lack of true understanding about us. It will be you, Mrs. Clinton, that will cause the exodus of black people from the democratic party like Moses leading the Hebrews from Egypt. You discount the message of hope to a people that struggled and lived on nothing but since Plymouth rock landed on us. Should your political career survive, let this be a lesson you never forget.

    A black woman
