No one else has made that linkage, because no one else understands that unless we displace transportation demand, oil prices are not affected by alternative energy schemes.

As a prototypical Texan, Mr. Pickens thinks big. He also has a plan to provide water from West Texas to Dallas, San Antonio, and Houston, whenever they are ready to buy it.

I just hope he lives long enough to see the Billion-with-a-B that he has invested in Wind Turbines be deployed and the transmission lines built.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25734096.post-70923695685556623992008-07-18T12:15:00.000-07:002008-07-18T12:15:00.000-07:00Now back to the real issue and away from the distr...Now back to the real issue and away from the distraction.

ENERGY

http://www.pickensplan.com/

http://newenergynews.blogspot.com/2008/06/neil-young-rocking-electric-car.htmlJoe Fridayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02947078797214543946noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25734096.post-39538142761980989892008-07-18T10:25:00.000-07:002008-07-18T10:25:00.000-07:00Wow!Thank FOX-NEWs first!Change comes from inside ...Wow!

Thank FOX-NEWs first!

Change comes from inside not outside.Deocliciano Okssipin Vieira, aka Ochyminghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05445826442297755219noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25734096.post-34092802709635932312008-07-18T07:40:00.000-07:002008-07-18T07:40:00.000-07:00Yes! The negative response was from many who didn't understand that the New Yorker has always been at the edge of intellectual satire.

The New Yorker is not Newsweek and not Parade, it is, like the WSJ, Cosmo, and Easyrider, media by which it's readers define themselves.

No one else was confronting this foolishness that was lurking just under the surface...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
